I have a 3080 ti on order that should be delivered next week. Nope, once I logged back into windows and installed the correct driver for the 1080, device manager still shows 2080 ti. Today I downloaded and ran DDU in safe mode thinking that would fix my problem. I've uninstalled it from Control Panel and Device manager, it doesn't matter as once the computer reboots device manager still shows a 2080. The problem is, no matter what I do Windows 10 still thinks the 2080 ti is installed. Once that didn't work, I figured it was the video card so I uninstalled it and swapped it out with my old GTX 1080 FE I had laying around. ![]() During my troubleshooting a did a system restore to a restore point that was made a couple months ago. ![]() Recently my 2080 Ti failed on me while playing a game.
